My name is Jo-Ann T. Carricarte (aka JT, Jo, Mama Yaya, JoJo), and I consider myself to be, among many things, a gratitude junkie, life long learner, conversationalist and a powerful source of inspiration, motivation and consolation. I am an avid reader, writer, yogini, and self-proclaimed “student of life” committed to personal, spiritual and emotional growth.
I love digging deep, asking the big questions, and having meaningful and authentic conversations. Sharing stories among friends and strangers, making connections and learning about each other’s journeys is a source of inspiration for me. Talking about trials, tribulations, challenging times and difficult situations and how we pick ourselves up, persevere and forge ahead is what sets my soul on fire. So does being able to love, serve and uplift others. It brings me JOY!
It is my hope that this blog will do just that for whomever stumbles upon it and reads it. My blogs will be full of real-life situations, transitions, and bits and pieces of ways the reader can inspired and, in turn, inspire, love,serve AND lead from the heart... right from the start. As with all things in life, this blog is also a process. Learning to navigate all the tech stuff and tools will take time, patience and equanimity (and no judgement or self criticism in doing so… sighhh). It will evolve, grow and take on a life of its own at some point. For now, I will keep it simple. My mission is to write, write, write…..
